You Nameless Scum is the first gamebook, a.k.a. choose-your-own-path book, for Mörk Borg. It will let you play a quick and brutal adventure for one and, in the process, create characters fully ready to use in your Mörk Borg games... at least if you make the right choices and survive. You Nameless Scum is a 100% autonomous game and can be played without the Mörk Borg core rulebook. That said, it's also 100% compatible with it, and you'll be able to play the adventure with any official or third-party class in your possession.

Can I run this, generating a character with a class, or is it kind of designed with a classless starting character in mind?
You can use a class if you want, but not all class skills may be compatible.
Yeah it makes sense that not all skills might be compatible. I also see there are specific skills that seem tailor made for the book, so I added one to my character too. I rolled a Fanged Deserter randomly, and then noticed that one of the early possible encounters offers his teeth haha! I was wondering if maybe there are more encounters that might let you sort of build a strange hybrid-class character.
I also rolled for silver in the Mork Borg book and got super lucky with 100, then noticed the top end in your character creation rules is way lower, and felt kind of bad that maybe I should have a more desolate start haha. It won't save me though. I used my single starting Omen on my first fight to avoid being utterly decimated by a defence fumble.
Super fun so far, I love the choose-your-adventure style mixed in with some random rolls, and the flavour and stuff added to each scene and interaction! And also the feature of recording stuff into interactions for future interactions... Really really cool mechanic for the fact that you will most likely end up there again with another character, like a built-in world-building record! Love it.
I'm glad you're enjoying it! Yes, the denture is a nod to the fanged deserter and one of my interpretations of how the class could actually obtain it. I mean, considering it's MB, they might be born with a mouth full of canines, but I think it's creepier to imagine someone forging it. If I remember correctly that was the only nod I made to another class inside the book.
Starting with more silver may skew the title given at the end of the book, since it depends on how rich you became based on your possessions, but that applies to any class other than the one given in the book. So, no biggie.

I also made another gamebook called Family Business, this time based on CY_BORG. But since they’re really demanding, I don’t think I’ll write a third one.
I was looking through more of your stuff on DriveThruRPG and saw that one! I have the CY_BORG book too, but haven't played it yet, saving it for when I'm bored with other stuff. Definitely going to pick that up once I start CY_BORG. I can imagine it would be extremely demanding to write these.
Yeah, considering I mapped the whole thing out on a bunch of A3 sheets of paper without any software, it definitely didn’t help.

I backed this on kickstarter and just did my first run. Unfortunately, the poor soul didn't make it through (and never learned their true name). It's written very good with enough choices to make me interested in reading it several times! Great to have a choose-your-own-adventure book in the world of Mörk Borg.
